THE PATTAYA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL 2009 - PATTAYA’S MUSIC EXTRAVAGANZA Pattaya residents and visitors can look forward to a major music event taking place during 20th - 22nd March 2009 – The Pattaya International Music Festival 2009. The event is part of a wider nationwide TAT campaign, “Amazing Thailand Amazing Value”, whose aim is to provide value for money events to Thai and international visitors. The festival has also been enthusiastically endorsed by Gen. Veerasak Kosurut (the Minister of Tourism and Sport), Sonthaya Kunpluem (the President of Chonburi Sports Association) and Ittipol Kunpleum (the Pattaya City Mayor). Most musical tastes should be satisfied by the genres on offer which will include Pop, Rock, R & B, Jazz, Hip Hop and Country and Western.

International musicians will be flown in by the following production companies SM Entertainment (Korea), EEG (Hong Kong), Ocean Butterfly (China), House Of Indies (Vietnam), Halo Music (Malaysia), Amphead (Australia), Indee Records (Laos) and Avex (Taiwan).

The international line-up is impressive and includes Rynn Lim from Malaysia, Minh Thu from Vietnam, Cirque de Freak from Australia, Kym Jin Sha from China, and Shinee and Girls Generation from Korea. The following Thai artists will also be performing Golf & Mike, Pancake, Clash, ABNormal, Paradox, Bodyslam, Ebola, Zeal, Joey Boy and The Star.
